Dating from early 1950, this cute little school desk was made by Torck (Belgium).

Founded in the late 19th century, the toy manufacturer was mainly known for its pedal cars for children aiming to compete with the British market. However the company also produced other toys and children's furniture in the 50s which continued  until the factory's closure in the 70s.

Beech desk with original painted blackboard on reverse of the table top. 

Distinctive blue painted outline on seat and table characteristic to Torck designs.

In good vintage condition with some signs of wear and use.
